A man of many models

Last month, I read with interest a piece on the Eater London website that featured Dave Strauss, who oversees the operations of a number of Goodman restaurants (Zelman Meats, Burger & Lobster and Goodman). The article was a result of Strauss tweeting about discounting and purposefully running a restaurant site at a loss. “We started discounting last week in a couple of sites and we got busier,” he tweeted. “Didn't make any money, but more people. It's definitely more fun to lose money with a fuller restaurant.”
