The week we’re sending this issue to press, I have met up with an operator to discuss business over lunch, found myself among EPoS providers and packaging solutions at the Restaurant & Takeaway Innovation Expo, experienced an evening of Korean food and kombucha at M Restaurants, and checked out the new Pergola Olympia. I’m not exactly past the age of being sprightly, but I’m ashamed to say that the weekends have started to become an excuse to just do nothing.
