Catalunyan restaurant and deli Lunya is relocating to a bigger site in Liverpool as part of the business’s expansion plans.
The move from Liverpool One’s College Lane to the corner of College Lane and Hanover Street will take place in October, following a £150,000 investment from founders Elaine and Peter Kinsella.
The new 5,500 sq ft site will provide the brand with a shop front and a more integrated dining, bar and deli room. It will allow the deli range to expand, offering more Spanish produce for customers to take home, and will increase the number and size of regular events, ranging from wine and food tastings to gin experiences.
The new site will also create 10 additional jobs, taking the Liverpool workforce to 55.“Although we and our customers love our existing site in Liverpool ONE, an opportunity arose with a new location offering all the extra space and facilities that was just too good to miss,” says Elaine Kinsella. “We’re confident all of our many loyal customers will love it.”
