Amsterdam-born eatery The Butcher has launched a new global franchising scheme to enable the brand to launch in the UK.
Serving burgers and freakshakes, The Butcher was launched in Amsterdam in 2012 and has since gone on to open in Berlin and Ibiza. The brand is due to open in Dubai this year and Milan in 2020.
It has also evolved with The Butcher on Wheels and The Butcher Social Club, which is open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
With the franchise opportunities available, the brand predicts that a further 10 sites will open in cities across the globe in the next three years, with the aim of reaching 80 new locations in the next five years and a turnover projection of more than €100m.
Stephanie Juliet Pearson, CEO of Entourage Group, which owns The Butcher, is originally from Cheshire, UK.
“As a group running different restaurant concepts, we have to stay focused,” she says. “We don’t want to grow too fast as this could lead to a loss of attention and focus. That is why we decided to create a global franchise system for The Butcher that brings this unique burger bar to vibrant cities all over the world.”
“Following this route, we know that we will reach the next stages in the growth of our company. Our team is united to achieve our goal – to bring exclusive and extraordinary food experiences to people who love food and attention to detail in the same way we do.”
