Overall revenues for the four weeks to 31 December 2018 were up 11% year-on-year for D&D London.
UK like-for-like revenues were up 6%.
Individual sites that performed particularly well are Orrery (+22%), Aster (+19%) and German Gymnasium (+12%).
Christmas Day like-for-like revenues increased 20%.
“We were very pleased with our like-for-like growth in revenues compared with a strong December last year,” says D&D London chairman and CEO Des Gunewardena. “As was the case then it was great to see both our more recent openings as well as our longest established venues performing well. For the full month of December, six of our venues achieved £1m+ net revenues. Quaglino’s and 100 Wardour Street, our highest grossing restaurants, each achieving net revenues in excess of £1.4m. In the context of Brexit and uncertain financial markets it was rather a better than expected Christmas.”
