Casual Dining Down Under

When you eat out on the other side of the world, you can’t help but compare operations to the UK. It may be 9,000 miles away and take 24 hours (17 if you book the new direct flights) to get there, but Australia is like the hotter, younger equivalent of the UK. The culture in the major cities of Melbourne, Sydney and Perth is very similar to London, Manchester and Brighton, largely due to the huge expat community of Brits who have made it their home. Whether you’re in the hustle and bustle of Melbourne or on one of the beaches along the Perth coast, eating and drinking out is a major pastime.
