Inaugural StrEAT Food Challenge finalists announced

The finalists for the first ever StrEAT Food Challenge have been confirmed.

The search for the UK’s most innovative street food chef will now see the following 15 chefs, from the worlds of casual dining, quick service restaurants and market trading, appearing at the live cook-off final, which will be held at Islington Metal Works in London on 8th May 2019.

The talented 15 will produce their trademark dishes for the chance to win £1,000 and a week of free trading at Boxpark Shoreditch or Croydon. They will also get to show off their technical skill and creative prowess in the Technical Round, which will see them take on a selection of ingredients provided by the event’s sponsors. There’s also a Wings Round, sponsored by Frank’s Hot Sauce, and the It’s A Wrap Round, sponsored by Major.
