LEON has reported a 22.9% like-for-like sales increase for the first quarter of 2019, largely attributed to new menu innovations.
The LOVe burger, which launched in January, has been one of the brand’s most successful dishes to date, currently its third biggest selling item on the menu behind the baked fries and satay chicken hot box, and now also available with a gluten-free bun.
In terms of openings, the company will open its first site in an out-of-town shopping centre, in Cheshire Oaks on 10 April.
Its first Dublin site will also open on 8 May in Temple Bar, followed by a second later in the year. These are the first of 20 sites planned for Ireland.
A new London site will also open in Notting Hill Gate on 20 May and the brand will continue to expand internationally with a launch in Basel in the autumn, followed by more Swiss locations.
