Hero Brands appoints Chris Palmer as franchise director.
Palmer will spearhead the company’s recruitment strategy throughout Europe. He joins Hero Brands from Yum Brands’ Taco Bell.
German Doner Kebab is the Hero Brands flagship, which now has more than 700 franchises around the world.
The group has also launched Choppaluna in the UK, with 12 franchises signed-up and another 60 ready to go.
Hero Brands global franchise director Jon Cullen believes Chris Palmer’s experience is invaluable in strengthening the senior team and growing the reach of the company’s brands.
Palmer brings more than 15 years of experience in the franchising sector, having previously held the position of European franchise manager for Taco Bell, overseeing the opening of 50 new restaurants in the UK and Europe over 18 months.
Palmer also previously worked as part of the management team responsible for transforming Harry Ramsden’s.
“It’s very exciting to be joining Hero Brands as it forges ahead with plans to truly disrupt the fast-casual space,” says Palmer. “We are building amazing brands of the future and I am looking forward to moving at pace with our multi-franchise partners to bring the brands to even more consumers throughout the region.”
