Wahaca recently launched ‘The Mexican Eye’; two bespoke experiential dining pods situated on London’s Southbank.
The Mexican Eye will offer a taste of the best Mexican street food on the banks of the River Thames. Wahaca co-founder and chef Thomasina Miers has created a feasting menu, priced at £28 per person, exclusive to the pods, which will showcase Wahaca dishes.
The menu includes a range of sharing snacks such as homemade guacamole with tortilla chips; duck croquetas with smoky hibiscus and chipotle salsa; and crispy cauliflower bites.
There will also be sharing boards with dishes including buttermilk chicken tacos with pink pickled onions and spiced mayo; roasted butternut squash tacos with creamy cashew nut mole and pumpkin seeds; and pork pibil tacos slow cooked in citrus and spices.
