Casual dining operators set for King's Cross project

Venue Group has revealed the first details of Goods Way, a new home for live music and independent food and drink in King’s Cross, London.

Launching in February 2020, The Courtyard @ Goods Way will play host to a small selection of chefs and dining enterprises. The first operators to be announced are Breddos Tacos and The Duck Truck.

Breddos Tacos was founded by Nud Dudhia and Chris Whitney, who opened their first restaurant on Goswell Road in Clerkenwell. Joining them will be The Duck Truck, which was founded by Ed Farrell while working on a duck farm. The Duck Truck food includes the duck brioche bun, crispy duck wrap, and duck-fat frites.

Joining these initial food traders will be Sweetwater, an American-style bar inspired by New Orleans and the Mississippi Delta.

With further names due to be announced in January, The Courtyard @ Goods Way sets out to be another very welcome addition to the ongoing development of King’s Cross.

Venue Group is the enterprise of Ben Lovett, a founding member of the band Mumford & Sons. In 2017, Venue Group took over the running of the wider development of Flat Iron Square, the social space that houses a collection of street-food traders, restaurants, bars and outdoor performance areas.
