The World Championship Barbeque Cooking Contest is the crown jewel feature in the Memphis in May annual international festival. Held on the 13th – 16th May 2020, the festival will see over 70,000 BBQ fanatics congregate for exclusive chef demos, trend talks, live entertainment and of course a chance to discover the latest flavours, trends and techniques.
America’s No.1 duo, Frank’s RedHot and French’s Mustard’s are offering this trip-of-a-lifetime prize for one lucky winner and a plus-one, which includes complimentary food and drinks throughout the three-day event. In addition to the main prize, there are also 12 exclusive Frank’s and French’s branded BBQ barrel drums up for grabs for runners up.

The 2019 competition was won by Andrew Bush, Executive Chef at London smokehouse Bodean’s BBQ. He said: “The event was a real spectacle with people flocking from all corners just to be there and share the experience. The organisers and competing teams had clearly thrown heart and soul into the event and you really got a sense of how the BBQ culture is ingrained into the very DNA of the people there.
“The truly amazing Frank’s RedHot and French’s hospitality team made us feel looked after in every way; add in the interactive cooking experiences, roof top bar, incredible food and second to none view of the main stage, and it all came together nicely to turn a great experience into an awesome event, never to be forgotten.
